11 Day Kenya Classic

Scenery to take your breath away

Highlights: Tsavo West, Amboseli National Park, Samburu National Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Nanyuki), Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Mode of travel: Road or Air options.

Day 1: Nairobi Serena

Meet and greet at Nairobi’s JKI Airport. Stay at the Serena Hotel for rest and relaxations.

Day 2: Kilaguni Lodge (Tsavo West National Park)

After breakfast o the Tsavo West National Park about 250km from Nairobi. (Tsavo East and West together comprise one of the largest national parks in the world (larger than Wales).

Day 3: Amboseli Serena Lodge (Amboseli National Park)

At dawn- game drive, then back to the hotel for breakfast before departure for Amboseli National Park. Attractions include elephants, Burchell’s zebra, cheetah, African Wild Dog, buffalo, spotted hyena and lion.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Mt Kenya Safari Club (Laikipia Plateau)

Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast and then departure for Mt Kenya Safari Club, via Nairobi where you will have lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at the resort on Full Board Accommodation.

Day 5: Larsen’s Camp (Samburu National Reserve)

After breakfast and early morning departure for Larsen’s Camp in Samburu- to arrive just before lunch. The Samburu National Reserve is kept alive by the red, rich waters of the  Ewaso Nyiro River. Attractions here include birds, and species unique to the region like the Blue-legged ostrich (also known as Somali Ostrich), Grey’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe.
After lunch you have the option of an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge on Full Board Accomodation.

Day 6: Sweetwaters Tented Camp (Ol Pejeta Conservancy)

After morning game drive and breakfast the guests will depart for Ol Pejeta conservancy; check in at the Sweet Waters Serena Tented Camp. Ol Pejeta conservancy is a home to sweet waters chimpanzee sanctuary and 90,0000 Acres of African safari country to explore.
After lunch the guest take game drive in the ranch that is a home to the Big 5, tamed White Rhino and Chimps.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Sweet Waters Serena Tented Camp.

Day 7: Naivasha Simba (Lake Naivasha)

After breakfast transfer to Lake Naivasha, which is a fresh water lake with over 400 bird species and several wild life like Hippos, Zebras, Wildebeest, Fox, Waterbucks e.t.c.
Overnight stay at the Naivasha Simba lodge.

Day 8: Mara Serena (Masai Mara National Reserve)

After breakfast, the guests depart for Mara National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Mara Serena.

Day 9: Mara Serena ( Masai Mara National Reserve)

Morning game drive followed by breakfast after which a visit to the Maasai cultural village where the guests can experience first hand, one of the few remaining ancient great cultures of the world.
After lunch, the guests will relax before taking another game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 10: Masai Reserve

The guests may choose to take early morning balloon game drive, followed by champagne breakfast in the wild.
Lunch and relaxation then undertake afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the Mara Serena.

Day 11: Nairobi

Check in at the Serena hotel. After lunch is an optional city tour and shopping trip.
